Wine Cellars
About Wine Cellars:
Building a wine cellar is truly a wine enthusiasts dream, and a custom designed cellar creates the perfect hidden gem to add to your home. Working with small closet-sized spaces for modest wine collectors or even large open rooms for high-volume wine collecting, Al’s Masonry creates the perfect old world look, feel and charm of a classic stone, wine cellar.
All elements such as the flooring, walls, islands, sampling tables, bottle coves, rack systems, refrigeration, stairs, and even inset lighting are considered. We make recommendations on materials such as cultured stone, natural stone, brick, granite or tile and then build the wine room to your specifications.
Wine Cellar Construction:
Existing surfaces are prepped using the same techniques as with cultured stone depending on drywall or block surface types. New walls are added if needed. Stone work can have a fully mortared or dry stack appearance depending on your personal style.
Once the stonework is complete, we finish the wine cellar with wine racking systems, humidity control, lighting and refrigeration. All you need to add are the bottles of wine themselves.
